Visas for which family violence provisions apply
- Partner (Permanent) (SC 100) visa
- Partner (Temporary) (SC 820) visa
- Partner (Residence) (SC 801) visa
- Dependent Child (Temporary) (SC 445) visa
- Global Talent (SC 858) visa
You must:
- Be inside Australia
- Provide evidence of the family violence suffered
- Have suffered the family violence whilst the marriage or de facto relationship existed
- Have suffered the family violence committed by your spouse and not a third party such as for example your spouse’s family members
- Have suffered physical, emotional or psychological violence
You will
- Not have your visa cancelled
